Design Challenge

The 2024 Hawaii Design Challenge, Hosted by Honua Scholars invites creative minds to design innovative solutions for Hawaii’s unique challenges. This FREE event is open to students in High School, College, and Graduate School. This event is your chance to showcase designs that could impact the islands’ future in areas like sustainability, technology, and cultural preservation. In this activity/workshop-style event, participants will be placed into teams and work through a creative design process to develop a new innovation for Hawaii!

What to Expect:

Whether you’re passionate about solving real-world problems or eager to make a difference in Hawai`i, this is your platform to shine!
